It is with great sorrow that I write you this e-mail.
Our Vice president, Ian Craig has finally succumb to his lengthy battle with cancer.
He passed in the night, on September 18th, at the hospital.
Ian will be truly missed. He was a long time Union Activist. A champion of the OEC, who’s beliefs and actions have helped the Council be the Council they are today.
I have only known Ian for a few years, but I can think of no other more deserving of being the first recipient of the Rick Williams Presidential Award for Excellence. I so move, and look for your support on this nomination.
Remember him fondly, remember him well. Though he has passed… his legacy and his contributions, as well as our memories…will last forever!
